Tamara Felton-Howard, is the President of Felton-Howard Law, PLLC located in St. Petersburg, Florida. She has practiced law since 1998 when she was admitted to the Florida Bar. She is a cum laude graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry, Stetson University College of Law where she earned her Masters of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate degrees and the University of Miami where she earned an LLM (Master of Law) in Real Property Development Law. Ms. Felton-Howard began her career as a manager with NationsBank of Florida. After law school, she served for three years as an Assistant State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Pinellas County before becoming a named partner with now Florida Senator Darryl Rouson in the law firm of Rouson & Dudley, P.A. in 2001. While at Rouson & Dudley, P.A, Ms. Felton-Howard represented corporate clients in the areas of real estate, business formation and contract law, family and criminal law. After working for a few years in private practice, Ms. Felton-Howard became the general counsel for Urban Development Solutions, Inc., an award-winning real estate development firm which specialized in developing commercial properties in urban areas throughout Florida. In 2016, Ms. Felton-Howard founded Felton-Howard Law, P.A. and she also served as the CEO of the Equity Institute, an emerging economic development corporation.

Ms. Felton-Howard's community work has included an appointment by Governor Jeb Bush as a Commissioner with the Sixth Judicial Circuit Nominating Committee and serving on the Board of Governors of All Children’s Hospital, The Boys and Girls Club – Royal Theatre, the Pinellas Community Foundation, the St. Petersburg chapter of the Sickle Cell Association, and Deuces Live. She is a founder and former President of the Fred G. Minnis Bar Association and a member and former parliamentarian of the Zeta Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
